Tags
Tags help you organise and filter your wishlist items. You can add tags to any wishlist item to group related activities together, making it easier to find what you're looking for.
How Tags Work
- Tags are shared across your entire party — everyone sees the same tags
- Each tag has a name and a colour to help with visual identification
- Tags belong to your party and appear on all wishlist items
- Tags are automatically created when you add them to a wishlist item — there's no separate "Create Tag" step
Adding Tags to Items
- Open a wishlist item's Edit form
- In the tag input field, type a tag name and press Enter
- The tag appears as a coloured chip in the input
- Add more tags by repeating, or click the x on any chip to remove it
- Save the item to apply the tags
You can also type a comma (,) or semicolon (;) after a tag name to confirm it and keep typing the next one.
Tags on the Board
When you view your trip board, wishlist items in the From Wishlist column show their tags as small coloured chips. This helps you quickly see which categories of activities are available to schedule.
Filtering by Tag
On the wishlist page, a row of coloured tag chips appears above the item list. Click any tag chip to show only items with that tag. Click Clear on the active filter to show all items again.
Only one tag filter can be active at a time.
Managing Tags
Your party's Manage tags page lets you rename, recolor, and delete tags:
Renaming a Tag
- Click the pencil icon next to the tag name
- Type a new name
- Click Save to confirm or Cancel to discard
Changing a Tag Colour
Click the palette icon to cycle through the available colours: red, blue, gold, green, purple, sky, amber, and pink.
Deleting a Tag
Click the trash icon and confirm the deletion. The tag is removed from every wishlist item in your party.
Deleting a tag does not delete the wishlist items themselves — it only removes the label.
Tips
- Use consistent names so tags are reusable (e.g., "Dining" instead of "Restaurants" on one item and "Food" on another)
- The colour makes tags easy to spot at a glance on the board view
- Tags persist across all your trips — tag something once and it stays organised
